Today my boy is 20 months old! Only 4 months until his 2 birthday... Eek! Time flies when you're have fun :).
This tree in our front yard is insane. It's making a huge mess leafing everywhere. Leafing it's leaves. Jayden started making piles and throwing them everywhere. Jionel decided to have a leaf fight with him before breakfast. So much fun! I wish we lived in the north so we could do this in the Fall.
Bonus picture of Jayden eating breakfast. Annnnnd! I got a new lens for my camera, finally! So my pictures should be better quality soon. :)

Day 41- cheater
Jayden is such a cheater when it comes to his jack (monkey) in a box. He knows the right way to do it but get a kick out of cheating and popping it open. I yell 'cheater!' and he cracks up laughing.

Day 39- growing up
It's hard to believe that he's growing up so fast. I took this picture tonight and just stared at it for awhile. I remember just a year ago how tiny he was crawling around everywhere. I had no idea he would turn into a big boy so fast.
He's staring to learn to talk in sentences now. Very short sentences, none the less. For the second time he told me "I sit" as he sits down. The first time I heard him say this was hilarious. He took his stacking cups and squatted over one of them and said 'I sit' and he started to sit on the tiny cup. The way he says it is so cute, too. I'll try to catch it on video one day.

Day 38- watching 'hamma'
Jayden's favorite tv show is Handy Manny. He calls it hamma, which is Jaydenese for hammer. Gma got him a Handy Manny tool box for his birthday last year and he still loves it.
Today he brought it from his bedroom to the living room and played with his toys while he watched the show. I love how he makes the connection that those are the same characters that he's watching on tv. I love watching him grow and learn. It's one of the best parts of being a mom :).
Speaking of growing and learning, I realized today that he knows the word duck. While we were reading Brown Bear, Brown Bear, he yelled out DUCK! He also said cinco (5 in Spanish) for Abuela today and I've been able to get him to say uno a few times before. He will count to 3 in English too but will only say 2 and 3. I have to figure out how to get him to start with 1 lol. Lots of brags haha!

Day 36- grease monkey
Jayden helped Jionel work on his car today. He apparently did a lot of helping because he was filthy. Yuck!
While the boys were working on their car, I made cake batter truffles. See picture below. Yum! They are so good and super sweet. I figured I would have ate half of what I made tonight but thankfully because they're so sweet it kept me from eating more than 2.
