day 21- lazy day

We had a pretty lazy day around here. All 3 of us are dealing with colds.

Day 20- toy box

It's really hard to come up with something to write about during the weekdays sometimes because things are just so boring around here. I apologize in advance :).

One thing I do love is when Jayden will just go into his room and play on his own. We moved most of his toys into his room and out of  our living room because, well, that's where they belong! I hope one day we'll have the house of our dreams and a playroom to match. I always see such cute ideas on Pinterest from art work, to chalkboard painted walls, to lego tables... and just no where to put that in our {rental} house. ::dream:: one day.

Day 19- grumpy pants

Jayden played hooky from school again today. This makes time number 3 this week. Money well spent if you ask me. I thought he had an ear infection so Jionel took him to the doctor this morning. He has a very minor infection. The cold is bothering him more than that. So he's on antibiotics and hopefully he will get well soon. I need my happy boy back.

Day 18- what a day

This picture doesn't explain today well at all, really. I just want to nom on those cheeks. In the words of one of my mommy friends, today he had a grandma/grandpa hangover. What a monster.

He played hooky at daycare again and instead of having a nice relaxing day I had to deal with his temper tantrums. Oye ve. It's funny because I was just telling Jionel last night how proud I was that he's been so good lately and we haven't had to put him in time out in over a week. Let the regression begin.

I need a strong drink.

Day 17- go magic!

Tonight we went to an Orlando Magic game. For the record, this was my first time going to a basketball game. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be. The sound of the squeaky sneakers is MUCH worse on tv lol. However, the little boy behind me kept kicking my seat and hitting me with his noise maker. At one point I swatted his noise maker from the back of my head and he leaned over on me and yelled a sweet sincere "sorry!" It reminded me of Jayden the way he leaned over on me. 

Speaking of my little man... Tonight is his first time sleeping away from Jionel and I. I'm really going to miss those snuggles in the morning but it might be nice to try to sleep in for the first time in 19 months. I know he's in good hands with his Layla and Laylo (that's Abuela and Abuelo for those of you who don't speak Jaydenese) and I can't wait to pick him up from school tomorrow and get my big kiss.

Day 15- the farm

Today we went to a petting farm. I remember going to field trips to this farm when I was little :-D. Jayden had a really good time. I think his favorite part was the choo choo train. I have one more picture to add but my phone is being dumb and wont let me load it tonight. Good night all!
